Class Overview:
In Miss Giannini’s 10th grade class, you will be exploring the art of the written word. You will learn how to craft your own art (writing), critique other’s art (reading), and share your art with the world (speech). Participation is necessary for you to become a master of your craft. You will be required to write a 3-5 page research paper as well as multiple essays; read multiple short stories and 2 complete works (Romeo and Juliet, To Kill a Mockingbird); and give 1 informative speech. You will be a skilled artist in no time!
